Why travel to other solar systems or galaxy clusters? Credentialed journalists and U.S. soldiers can walk right up to the boundary of never never land at the Demilitarized Zone on the 38th parallel separating North and South Korea. If looks could kill, those North Korean soldiers with martial arts calluses on their hands would vaporize all foreign devil round-eyes on the South side of the line. This is a whole different world and scary as hell. Journalists from each parallel universe can socialize during North-South talks at Panmunjom, but the North Korean stay in their bubbles of fear and no one dares burst them. They live in a world with its own god who has designed their reality in every bizarre detail . . . . . . Etc.
