Evidence on origins of universe 'suggests conspiracy rather than coincidence' . . .

Author and atheist-turned-Christian Lee Strobel said at a conference on the theory of Intelligent Design at Southern Methodist University in Dallas that science, if correctly done, points to a designer whose characteristics "just happen to match the descriptions of the God of the Bible." Strobel, who was an avowed atheist and journalist prior to his conversion, said materialistic theories fail to explain the origin of life or how any part of the universe is habitable, Baptist Press reported based on an article inthe Southern Baptist TEXAN, newsjournal of the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention. . . .
