Spring in Teheran: Women police clamp down on a heretical fashion statement . . .

In support of the all-important objective of Iran becoming a nuclear power, its citizens must make small sacrifices. Being happy and carefree in the springtime, for example, is not an option, for Iranian women at least. In the photo, the woman at right is being issued a warning by the policewomen on the left. And until Iran become pro-U.S., the sisterhood Stateside will keep their mouths shut about it. Article follows:
