From the mainstream media, one might get the impression that the U.S. government is skeptical or even indifferent toward global warming. According to UFOlogists, however, a massive, covert government program has been going on for several years to spray tiny metal particles in the atmosphere, ostensibly to deflect the sun's heat energy in a desperate attempt to reduce global warming by one or two percent.

This program of geo-engineering, called "chemtrails," was a hot topic of conversation at the Alternate Realities Conference June 27-29 at Roan Mountain State Park, Tenn.
UFOlogists, whose job is to scan the skies, have been noticing white-painted, unmarked jets and tankers leaving wide trails of vapor criss-crossing the sky, too low for regular contrails and off regular commercial flight paths. The trails have been photographed from the ground and also from satellites.
Ominously, flu-like symptoms, rashes and other complaints, even increased deaths, have been reported in their wake. An enormous amount of data on chemtrails has been published on the Internet at "www.rense.com/politics6/chemdatapage.html" and "www.carnicom.com/contrails.htm."
Psychoanalyst Constance Clear, who was at the ARC to speak on her experiences with abductees, said she was "all wound up" over the issue. Holding forth at a table selling copies of her book Reaching for Reality: Seven Incredible True Stories of Alien Abduction, she also displayed a collection of photos, clippings and documents on chemtrails.
